Gloria Garcia is an Administrative Assistant in the Office of Technology Transfer at George Mason University, bringing two decades of support across research administration, governance, and cross-functional collaboration. Since 2005, she has contributed to OTT and the George Mason Research Foundation, Inc., working continually with GMU’s innovation initiatives and partner offices. Her experience spans event coordination, travel, financial tasks, compliance, and stakeholder communications. She serves as an officer on the GMRF Board and has supported shared services, including scheduling meetings and planning extensive travel for the AVP of Entrepreneurship and Innovation; handling extensive purchasing, reconciliation, and events for the Mason Innovation Exchange (MIX); and roles in legal administration and staff associations. This background enables effective coordination with faculty, leadership, industry partners, and cross-department teams in dynamic environments. Gloria is also currently supporting the Office of Research Innovation and Economic Impact (ORIEI) as part of ongoing reorganization and shared-services initiatives.
